Q1 Who
qualifies for NEMS3? Applicants
are graduate students and post-doctoral scholars
working in this field.
Q2 Will
housing and meals be provided? Caltech
will provide housing and meals at breakfast and lunch
for the student participants. Dinner will not be provided.
Q3 Is
there tuition for the 2 week summer school? Yes,
there is a $500
tuition for the 2 week program.
Q4 What
other expenses can I expect to pay? You can
expect to pay for your travel to and from Caltech,
and your dinner meals. In addition you may be interested

Q6 How
do I supply the summer school with letters of recommendation? Please
have your advisor(s) email letter(s) of recommendation

Q7 Can
international students apply to NEMS3? Yes,
international graduate students and postdocs may apply.
Q8 Can
high school students apply to NEMS3? NEMS3
is not open to high school students, however, we advise
such students to build a strong foundation in basic
sciences including mathematics, biology, physics, and
chemistry.
Q9 When
do lectures and talks begin? Lectures begin promptly
at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 3 and wrap up Thursday, July
12 at 5:00 p.m. |
